Quip Bots Hosted First Lego League Competition

Aliquippa School District and the Quip Bots hosted a robotics competition on Saturday, November 19th, in the Aliquippa Jr/Sr High School gymnasium. Eighteen teams from Western PA competed in the event sanctioned through First Lego League. The teams consisted of students ages 9-14 who designed, built, and coded robots to complete challenge missions on the official robotics tables. The competition was a great success with twice as many teams attending as last year's event. We look forward to continuing to grow our competition into the premier robotics event in western PA.
