Quip-Bots Make an Impression!

The rookie Quip-Bots robotics team competed in the Western Pennsylvania FIRST LEGO League Grand Championship this weekend at La Roche College.  There were 39 teams in their division from all over Western Pennsylvania.  Under the guidance of their coach, Mr. Robert Signorelli, the Quip-Bots placed 9th in the Robotics Challenge, in the top ten for their Robotics Strategy Presentation, and 1st for their Research Presentation! Even their mascot, Tessa Kaufman, won Honorable Mention in the Mascot Parade! It was a great day for everyone! Click here for pictures.

 The Aliquippa Robotics Team, the Quip-Bots, are featured in the Beaver County Times. The team, comprised of students Dominik Anderson, Mohammed Aziz, Gracie Kaufman, Jahnauri Riggins, Jasir McCracken, and Richard McCracken, are led by 6th grade teacher, Robert Signorelli.
