The Student of the Year Competition opens on January 2, 2020! The Challenge Program wants to know how the five award categories (Attendance, STEM, Community Service, Academic Improvement and Academic Excellence) have motivated you and what you are doing to make a difference in yourself and/or your community! You do not have to be an award recipient to enter.

Three finalists will receive $1,000 cash and one will be named Student of the Year! Will it be you?

Aliquippa School District and Highmark Caring Place

Aliquippa School District has partnered with Highmark Caring Place, whose core purpose is to make a difference in the lives of grieving children.  We will be working with the Caring Place to provide Grief Groups in grades K-12.  The Groups will be held during the school day with the School Counselor at your school, will meet approximately 8-10 times over the course a couple months, and will guide your child through the grief process. 

If you are interested or have questions about your child participating in this program, please contact your child’s School Counselor at 724 - 857- 7500.
