The Center for Safe Schools - Bullying Prevention

The Center for Safe Schools and the Highmark Foundation proudly announce the launch of the Pennsylvania Bullying Prevention Toolkit, a website that provides centralized, authoritative, easy-to-use information, tools and best practices to help families, schools and communities recognize, understand and prevent bullying, and support children affected by it.

8th Grade Students Win $1,000 Grant

Mr. D’Alessandris took a group of 8th grade students to a competition in downtown Pittsburgh to improve the quality of health in our school. These students worked together with adult mentors to come up with a pitch to present to a panel of judges to change the health of our students. The students presented to a panel of 3 judges and a room full of 70 of their peers from various districts. Our students were awarded a grant for $1000. The Pit - Visitors Grandstand Closing

For safety reasons, the Aliquippa School District has closed the visitors grandstand at the football stadium (The Pit). The plan is to demolish the visitors grandstand in the near future. We would like to thank all of the fans who visited our stadium over the years and apologize for any inconvenience. More +
